I pre-ordered my device. When can I expect it?

All pre ordered DemarkQ devices should arrive by the end of August. The exact date of arrival   will depend on your location, order date, and freight partners. We will send you a track and trace code as soon as we ship your product to you.

COVID-19 impact on our shipping policy

The pandemic has been a challenging time for all of us. We, along with our shipping partners will try our best to fulfill your orders as fast as possible while keeping to the recommendations from the WHO and CDC. We are grateful for your patience and appreciate your support during such a time. If delivery time exceeds by a week from the expected arrival date, please email customerservice@demarkq.com and we will do our best to help.

Where can I find my order number?

You can find your order number in the email confirmation you receive after successfully making a  purchase.

Can I change/cancel my order after it has been submitted?

If you would like to cancel your order after it has been submitted, please contact us immediately. If the order has not been shipped yet, and we will try our best to accommodate your needs immediately. If, however, the order has already been shipped then please resend the package back to us. If the package is unopened, you will receive a full refund. Please note, however, that you will be required to pay the shipping costs for these returns.

What if I filled in the wrong address on my order?

If you filled in the wrong shipping address, please contact us immediately. If the order has not been shipped yet, we will try to correct the package route immediately. If, however, the order has been shipped, please make sure to contact the shipping company after receiving your track and trace code and redirect it to the correct address.

I received a defective product. Now what?

We are very sorry. At DemarkQ, we try our best to provide you with the best product and service possible. Our products are consistently assessed for efficacy and quality in order to minimize such instances. However, if you happen to receive a defective product, please fill out this form and we will reach out to you immediately. Please be sure to include the order number in your email so we can work to help correct this as fast as possible.

I bought my products from a third party and it is defective. What should I do next?

If you bought your product from a third party, we recommend you immediately fill out the product registration form here. This will allow us to input your purchases details into our system and make sure your warranty is effective. We can then help you if your device needs to be replaced  or repaired according to the stipulations of our warranty program.

I want to return a product but I can’t find my packing slip. What should I do?

We do not provide a return slip in your order. So, don’t worry, you didn’t lose it.  If you would like to return your device, please send us an email to customerservice@demarkq.com and we will assist you with the next steps.

How should I return products?

If you would like to return your DemarkQ device, please send us an email at customerservice@demarkq.com. We will then provide you the return location as well as other necessary details to return the device .You can find your order number in the order confirmation email you recieve after purchasing a device. Please note that you will have to pay the delivery costs for returning the product. If you want to return your device because it is defective, please fill out the Product Warranty Form here so you can repair or replace your device as soon as possible.

What is your return and exchange policy?

All DemarkQ devices can be returned within 14 days. You will receive a full refund if the package is not opened. For other returns, please send an email to customerservice@demarkq.com with your order number and reason of return and we will get back to you as soon as possible. If your product is defective, you can exercise your 1 year warranty. You can do so by filling out this form.

My order says it was delivered but I cannot find it! What should I do?

If such a situation should occur, we encourage you to immediately contact the shipping company responsible for delivering the package. Sometimes shipping companies may also leave the packages at your neighbor’s home. If all else fails, please make sure to contact us customerservice@demarkq.com and we will see what we can do to help you.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping for our products is free in countries within the USA and countries within the European Union. Countries outside this region will incur additional shipping costs depending on your location and total weight of the package.

Why and how should I register my products?

If you bought your products directly from the DemarkQ device from our website then you do not have to register your product. However, if you bought your device from a third party, we encourage you to use the Product Registration Form to notify us of your project. This way you can make sure your warranty is effective in case you experience problems with your device.

I lost my user manual! What do I do now?

You can access and download a softcopy for all DemarkQ devices here.

How do I charge my DemarkQ device?

DemarkQ uses a USB-C cable to charge. Simply plug in the device and ensure the power supply is in a safe and dry place. Please do not use a damaged cord to charge your device since that may cause electric shock.

How much and how often should I use my DemarkQ device?

Using the device once every 24 hours is more than sufficient. In order to avoid overuse, our products are built in with a start-stop system and therefore will turn off themselves after the required use-time.

How do I clean my DemarkQ device?

Make sure your DemarkQ is always off and unplugged before cleaning. Do not use water when cleaning the device. Instead use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the screen surface, before and after each use.

Can I continue wearing makeup if I am treating my skin with DemarkQ?

Of course! You can continue to enjoy your favorite makeup looks while using the DemarkQ light therapy. However, please make sure to use the  treatment on bare, clean, and dry skin.

How do I use the DemarkQ products?

1. Cleanse your face to remove all the dirt and makeup off of your face. Dry your face with a towel.  

2. Wipe down your device with a dry cloth so it is clean and ready for use.  

3. Turn on your DemarkQ device. If you are using the WOW or the POP, make sure to have your safety glasses on.

4. Hold up the LED light at least 6mm against the affected area until the device turns off automatically. The POP and POW take three minutes. The WOW takes six minutes. You can also directly place the light on your skin but be sure to prevent direct exposure to your eyes.  

5. Now you are ready to seize the day with confidence!

• Keep in mind that light therapy is even more effective if you combine a skin routine that already works well for you.

Can I use it if I am pregnant?

Although no hazard is suspected, and some pregnant patients have used the treatment successfully in the past, the use of  LED light therapy has not yet been systematically evaluated on pregnant women. Hence, we advise pregnant and breastfeeding women to consult their doctor before starting light therapy sessions.

How often do I have to use the device to see results?

When it comes to treating acne, there are no quick fixes.  While you will likely notice some immediate improvements with light therapy, consistent use will bring you closer to the skin you want. Therefore, we recommend that you continue to use DemarkQ light.

Are DemarkQ devices suitable for me?

Age: DemarkQ devices are suitable and safe for use for individuals from all age groups. Regardless, if you are under 18, we strongly recommend you ask your parents or an adult for permission and support before using this product. Skin type: LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment. It heals the acne by simply assisting naturally occurring recovery processes of the skin. Therefore, this treatment is suitable for people of all skin types, regardless of texture and melanin production.

Are DemarkQ devices medically cleared?

We take your safety very seriously. Therefore, all our products are FDA cleared and approved. The FDA stands for the US Food and Drug Association and overlooks the sale and distribution of medical devices. Additionally, we have also been approved by MDSAP which audits the manufacturing of medical devices globally.

How do I know if my skin is too sensitive for the device?

To test if your skin is not too sensitive to the light therapy, we encourage you to conduct a simple test on your forearm before using it on your face. Press on the power button on the side until you hear a sound and the device illuminates. Place the LED lamp within ¼’’ (6mm) of your skin for three minutes. After three minutes the device will turn off automatically. Clean the device and check for signs of irritation or show redness. If the skin stays red for over 2 hours, discontinue use immediately. Your skin is too sensitive for the light. Contact customer service at customerservice@demarkq.com.

Do LEDs contain UV rays?

Absolutely not. Our devices provide skin-friendly treatment that does not emit any UV lights and so do not cause damage to the skin.

Is it safe for children?

The use of LED light therapy has been proven to be safe for children in clinical studies. Regardless, Regardless, if you are under 18, we strongly recommend you ask your parents or an adult for permission and support before using this product. For further concerns,  consult a healthcare professional before using any light therapy products, including DemarkQ.

Is light therapy safe? Does it have any side effects ?

LED light therapy has been deemed a safe procedure by the American Academy of Dermatology. Unlike more invasive treatments like laser therapy, it is more gentle on the skin and therefore does not cause burns, inflammation, or redness. This also removes the concern of post-therapy recovery time. Regardless, we strongly recommend you

• Never shine the light directly into your eyes. Please use the safety goggles that comes with the product or close your eyes when using DemarkQ device.

• Test the product for one minute in your arm before using it on your face. You can find the instructions for this light sensitivity test in the user manual.

• Consult your doctor before use if you are concerned about using the product with an underlying medical condition.

Can I use LED light therapy for my skin?

Light therapy has been found to be suitable for people of all ages and skin types. However, if you are under 18, please consult your parents on the topic. If you have concerns about underlying health conditions, please be sure to consult a doctor before use.

Does light therapy cause tanning?

DemarkQ devices do not cause tanning. This is because our devices do not emit ultraviolet light that causes tanning. If you experience any redness due to skin sensitivity, we recommend you to stop the therapy immediately.

How does red light light therapy help my skin?

During red light therapy, the light penetrates into the skin cells where it is absorbed by the mitochondria in the skin cells. Mitochondria, also known as the “powerhouse of the cell” converts the light energy into usable chemical energy for the cell.  This new source of energy aids the production of collagen and therefore kickstarts the healing process of the skin. As a result, the muscle tissues heal faster and better, restoring your natural skin texture, without scarring.

What is light therapy used for?

Light therapy, also known as phototherapy, is a treatment in which a person is exposed to an artificial light source. LED therapy in particular is a form of low level laser therapy in which the user is exposed to different wavelengths of light from light-emitting diodes(LED) to help improve a number of ailments. LED light therapy has been common practice for many medical practitioners as well as beauty professionals to address a number of skin conditions- including signs of aging, acne, and hyperpigmentation. Generally, light therapy is safe if done in an adequate and controlled manner with proper instructions.

How does blue light therapy help your skin?

Blue LED bulbs emit light at frequencies between 400 and 495 nm. This is found to be particularly useful when treating active and future breakouts. Blue light helps fight acne in two ways

1. Regulating the production of sebum: Blue light helps prevent acne by inhibiting activity in the sebaceous glands. Sebaceous glands, also known as oil glands, are located beneath hair follicles and produce sebum- a waxy matter that helps lubricate skin and hair in mammals. While sebum itself is important in maintaining healthy skin, it’s overproduction can lead to clogged pores and consequently acne.

2. Blue LED light therapy can target these glands to make them less active, therefore, reducing the possibility of clogged pores and acne. Deactivating C acnes. Cutibacterium acne (C Acnes), formerly known as Propionibacterium acnes (P acnes)are micro organisations that can be found in all healthy human skin. It lives on sebum and fatty acids and is often harmless. However, excessive production of sebum by hyperactive sebaceous glands can cause the bacteria to grow and multiply rather quickly. This inflames the clogged pores causing cystic and nodular acne.  Blue light deactivates the bacteria, successfully preventing the inflammation and the acne.

How does light therapy help improve my skin?

Our skin has the special ability to absorb light and use it as a source of energy to trigger a healing response. The photons contained in LED light are able to penetrate to deeper layers of  body tissue and transfer their energy into ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) energy. ATP is the  form of energy the body uses for proper functioning including repairs and rejuvenation. It is a natural biochemical reaction similar to that of photosynthesis which enables the body to convert light energy to cell energy. The additional energy in the skin cells, then in turn, helps trigger and accelerate the recovery process.  Furthermore, light also has disinfecting properties and can contribute to fighting off external microbes that may be harming the skin.
